Setting a store default
You can set one sorting strategy as your store default. The store default sorts every collection that doesn’t have a strategy of its own, including collections that you create later.

Section titled “Considerations for setting a store default”Before you set a store default, review the following considerations:
- The store default applies only to collections where you haven’t chosen how they’re sorted.
- With an Enabled strategy, Siftori takes over the collections that Shopify still sorts. You confirm how many before you save.
Set a store default
Section titled “Set a store default”- From your Shopify admin, go to Apps > Siftori Collection Sort > Sorting.
- In Sorting strategies, in Store default, select a strategy.
- Click Save.
- If a Take over collections? message appears, then click Set default and take over.
Clear the store default
Section titled “Clear the store default”Siftori stops sorting the collections that followed the store default. They go back to their earlier Shopify sort order, unless pins or sold-out handling still apply to them.
- From your Shopify admin, go to Apps > Siftori Collection Sort > Sorting.
- In Sorting strategies, in Store default, select No default.
- Click Save.
Keep a collection off the store default
Section titled “Keep a collection off the store default”- From your Shopify admin, go to Apps > Siftori Collection Sort > Collections.
- Click the collection.
- In Sorting, select Follow a strategy, and then in Strategy, select No strategy.
- Click Save.
Siftori stops sorting the collection.
