Creating a sorting strategy

This page covers
Considerations for creating a sorting strategy
Section titled “Considerations for creating a sorting strategy”Before you create a strategy, review the following considerations:
- Saving doesn’t sort your collections. They’re sorted on your store schedule. On a new store, the first scheduled sort can start within minutes.
- A collection follows one strategy. Adding a collection moves it from the strategy that it follows now.
- A collection that Shopify sorts is skipped until you let Siftori sort it.
Create a strategy from a starter
Section titled “Create a strategy from a starter”A starter fills in the strategy for you. You can change it before you save.
| Starter | Order of the products |
|---|---|
| New arrivals first | Newest first |
| Low stock first | 1 to 5 in stock first, least stock first, then the rest newest first |
| Sale first, then new arrivals | Discounted first, then added in the last 30 days, then the current order |
