Sort your first Shopify collection

Siftori decides the product order inside your Shopify collections. Setup is three steps and takes a few minutes.

Set it up

1. Push sold-out products down

   On Home, open Sold-out handling, tick Push down sold-out products, choose All collections, then press Save. More in Sold-out handling.

2. Create a sorting strategy

   On Sorting, press New strategy, choose Use a template and pick one of the templates. In the strategy’s Collections section, press Add collections, then press Save.

3. Sort a collection

   Open one of those collections and press Apply Sort. Siftori shows you the proposed order first, and Apply this order writes it to Shopify.

Questions merchants ask

Does Siftori change my collections before I ask it to?

No. A collection keeps its order until you give it a sorting strategy, and Apply Sort shows you the proposed order before it writes anything to Shopify.

Do I have to sort by hand every time?

No. A strategy created from a template arrives set to Enabled, so its collections sort on your store schedule from then on. Set Sorting to Manual only if you would rather run every sort yourself.

Do I need a sorting strategy to push sold-out products down?

No. Sold-out handling is a store setting of its own, so it reaches a collection that has no strategy at all.

What if Shopify is already sorting a collection?

Siftori leaves it alone while its sort order in Shopify is anything but Manually, and the collection is marked as sorted by Shopify. Press Let Siftori sort to hand it over.
