Pushing down sold-out products

You can move sold-out products to the bottom of your collections. They stay on your store. A pinned product that sells out moves down too.

A product that restocks returns to the position that it had. In a collection that a strategy sorts automatically, it’s placed at the next sort instead.

Push down sold-out products in all collections

Collections that you create later are included.

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Apps > Siftori Collection Sort > Sold-out handling.
2. Select Push down sold-out products.
3. Select All collections.
4. Click Save.
5. If Siftori asks whether to sort collections that Shopify sorts, then click Let Siftori sort or Leave them.

Push down sold-out products in selected collections

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Apps > Siftori Collection Sort > Sold-out handling.
2. Select Push down sold-out products.
3. Select Selected collections.
4. Click Add collections, and then select the collections.
5. Optional: To add the collections that you create later, select Include new collections.
6. Click Save.
7. If Siftori asks whether to sort collections that Shopify sorts, then click Let Siftori sort or Leave them.

Add or remove selected collections

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Apps > Siftori Collection Sort > Sold-out handling.
2. Do either of the following:
   • To add collections, click Add collections, and then select the collections.
   • To remove a collection, click Remove next to the collection.
3. Click Save.

Note

Before you save, the page shows how many collections stop getting sold-out handling, and how many of them go back to Shopify’s sort.

Push down in a collection that Shopify sorts

Siftori can move products only in a collection with the Shopify sort order Manually. Sold-out handling skips a collection with another sort order, and a warning on the page shows how many are skipped.

When you let Siftori sort a collection, its Shopify sort order changes to Manually. A collection without a strategy keeps sorting the way that Shopify sorted it, with the sold-out products at the bottom.

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Apps > Siftori Collection Sort > Sold-out handling.
2. In the warning about collections that are sorted by Shopify, do either of the following:
   • To switch one collection, click Let Siftori sort next to the collection.
   • To switch all of them, click Let Siftori sort them, and then click Let Siftori sort.

Note

While collections are skipped, Siftori asks about them each time that you save on this page. To keep Shopify’s sort, click Leave them.

Wait before pushing a product down

A product that restocks during the wait stays where it is.

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Apps > Siftori Collection Sort > Sold-out handling.
2. Under Push down sold-out products, select Wait after a product sells out.
3. Enter a number, and then select Minutes, Hours, or Days.
4. Click Save.

Stop pushing down sold-out products

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Apps > Siftori Collection Sort > Sold-out handling.
2. Deselect Push down sold-out products.
3. Click Save.

Note

Siftori forgets the positions that the pushed-down products had. In a collection that nothing else sorts, they stay at the bottom, and selecting the checkbox again doesn’t restore them.

Before you save, the page shows how many collections go back to Shopify’s sort.
